My 2020 does not have the Earth Dreams Badge on top the engine. Just wondered if there was anything to this. Did Honda give up that engine name, or is my just not dreamy enough? I was just curious.

thanks,
Dan

I thought I read somewhere, that Honda was transitioning to MarsDreams Technology, maybe the stickers were not available yet....

Just joking...

Before I bought our 2020, I had read an article about the Honda Earth Dream engine.
It was written that there was an issue where extra raw fuel was entering into the cumbustion chamber and causing fuel to dilute the engine oil. This was supposedly affecting earlier Honda Models, can’t remember which models at the moment.
When I innocently mentioned this article to my sales rep, he made a face that I read as “oh no, not again.”
Mine has it.
Maybe Honda decided it would be best if we didn’t see that name.

That was Honda's Civic, Accord, CRV turbo 4 cylinder engines only. Honda came out with a software fix for cars in colder climates.

Believe that was the 1.5 turbo engine in the CRV.

Was in the market for a Passport.....However, based on this info about latest Honda technology...... does not having the EarthDream sticker mean it has another type of engine? Or, do all PP now have the EarthDream regardless of the sticker? Is the mixing of the gas with the oil only happen to smaller Honda’s , not the PP?

No issues with the 3.5 engine.... Honda dropped the logo from the 3.5 so it was not confused with the 1.5 turbo engine that did have the issues. The 1.5 turbo had a lot of bad press, and was corrected by a software update.
