Thanks for the info. From the Ridgeline forum. I have a September 2020 build 2020 PP and no sticker either.
Apparently there is nothing to see...lolThis is the second post about this sticker!
Now I need to see it!
That was Honda's Civic, Accord, CRV turbo 4 cylinder engines only. Honda came out with a software fix for cars in colder climates. Before I bought our 2020, I had read an article about the Honda Earth Dream engine.
It was written that there was an issue where extra raw fuel was entering into the cumbustion chamber and causing fuel to dilute the engine oil. This was supposedly affecting earlier Honda Models, can’t remember which models at the moment.
When I innocently mentioned this article to my sales rep, he made a face that I read as “oh no, not again.”
Mine has it.
Maybe Honda decided it would be best if we didn’t see that name.
Yes, I know that now but didn’t when I was shopping for my Passport. I actually felt ill when I popped the hood on the new Passport and saw the sticker. That was Honda's Civic, Accord, CRV turbo 4 cylinder engines only. Honda came out with a software fix for cars in colder climates.
Believe that was the 1.5 turbo engine in the CRV.Before I bought our 2020, I had read an article about the Honda Earth Dream engine.

Off hand how do you stop oil dilution with a software update. HmmNo issues with the 3.5 engine.... Honda dropped the logo from the 3.5 so it was not confused with the 1.5 turbo engine that did have the issues. The 1.5 turbo had a lot of bad press, and was corrected by a software update.
How do you know this?Honda dropped the logo from the 3.5 so it was not confused with the 1.5 turbo engine that did have the issues.
