As a loaner, my local dealer gave me a ‘21 base pilot while my Elite had the fuel pump replaced under the recall. Lots of difference between the 2 trims but I was curious if the ACC sucks like my Passport. Nope - it was smooth as my F-150. Head scratch.

Just got my '21 Elite. ACC works exactly like it did in my civic, granted the minor differences in feel with the 9 speed and the CVT.

Only thing I agree with on this forum so far is that the auto brights legitimately suck. My Civic's worked so well.

(that and the fact that I have the popping speaker issue :) )

Wouldn't it be awesome if Honda would provide Passport owners with a software update! Because I'm pretty sure it's not a hardware issue that makes the ACC in the Passport perform like crap. BTW, my wife's 2018 CR-V has a ACC system that runs as smooth as water rolling off a duck's back.

That’s exactly what I told the service rep. You know damn well the hardware is all the same. We know the front end of a Pilot is the same as the front end of the Passport. No excuse for this behavior. I am in the market for a 3 row but will look at Toyota just because of my disgust with Honda over the cruise and unusable high beam control. No excuse in the 3rd model year.

Well my 2017 CRV touring ACC was terrible on the level it was constantly hunting.... going down a hill and it would over speed 7 mph over the set speed it would slam the throttle to the floor when starting to slow down to the set speed. It would do this about 3 times before it would settle down. It was better than the PP even with that.....
