Showing the PP to my brother and he showed me that the PP hood has a 2nd slot for the prop that allows the hood to be in a nearly vertical angle which gives much greater access to the engine compartment. Not that we really need it.

Yes I guess that’s one advantage of not having the gas struts

If you are a DIYer you will appreciate the vertical hood in a few years when you are changing spark plugs or doing a valve adjustment.
