Anyone looking for some low cost alternatives to upgrading you existing speakers may want to jump on these deals:
While I have no knowledge of any of these speakers and have not heard any of them, they are from good brand names and will most assuredly sound better that the OEM speakers in the Elite/Touring models (Not sure about the Sport/EXL as they have lower powered amps). According to Crutchfield all of them fit the Passport!
These JBL's are half price and you could get one set of the Club 602C 6-1/2" component speaker system to replace your front tweeters and front door woofers and then one set of the Club 620F 6-1/2" coaxial speakers for the rear doors!
Lots of positive reviews and many of them from Honda owners and all say it was a great upgrade! So for a mere $140, you'll be getting $280 worth of speakers! Also they are both rated at 3ohm and should work fine replacing the existing 2ohm speakers!
Next if you are more of an Infinity fan (HK owns JBL, Infinity and Harmon-Kardon), they have the same two types of set-ups for $5 & $10 more (I'd go with the Infinty's), these two Infinity's have nearly 400 reviews between them and most everyone says how much better they sound over STOCK speakers...
Cheers
