Well, this is encouraging. When I first got my 2019 PP CRs rated it low on their reliability scale.
The previous low rating could still be standing because that rating was in comparison to other cars in the Passport's class but this new rating is a comparison of only Honda cars. CR considers the 2023 Passport the most reliable Honda car but as @CC_Marauder observed above I don't know how CR got 12 months ownership data on the 2023, which makes me believe CR probably meant to say 2022/2023 Passport.

I actually have a consumer reports membership and this motorbiscuit.com article is completely made up. I'm not saying it's not a reliable vehicle, just that motorbiscuit isn't a reliable source.

Also consumer reports gives a score for predicted reliability. Generally this means how much is new compared to the old one, and how good was the old one. For 2023 MY they are using 2020-22 data. It says it on their site.

opinion: motorbiscuit is clickbate. I've stopped reading their articles a long time ago.

If everyone followed the recommendations from CR, we'd all be driving Buicks and beige Camrys. That being said, this is certainly good news for existing Passport owners and prospective buyers.
