compass on mirror does not work.

Far as I know there is no such thing. No mention in the owners manual.

The only compass that I have seen is on the Speedometer.

Wherever it is I do not have compass or outside temp gauge. Not by speedometer or on mirror.

You're going to have to select "compass" on the list using the steering wheel buttons. As for the temperature gauge, it's on the bottom left corner of the center screen.

If you have a PP with GPS installed, there is compas points (N, E, S, W, and the intermediate points, NE, NW, SE, SW, etc. on the lower right of the map screen.
