Clock suddenly off by one hour

Started out this morning in my Passport TOURING and noticed the clock read 6:05 and the time was actually 7:05. I did readjust it to the correct time but I'm wondering what happened. I just checked owners manual and it states that vehicles with navigation the clock automatically sets to correct time. Anyone else have this issue?

So far I'm on correct local time (Eastern).
Make sure the time zone is correct in the settings. Before today was it correct?

Yes, purchased mid May and clock was fine until this morning.
That’s odd. Did it show the correct time zone in the settings still or did it move time zones on you?
By chance do you live in an area that overlaps or borders two time zones?

It was set to automatic time zone and I live in Massachusetts (eastern time zone)
It was set there by the dealer before delivery. I reset the time and left it there just to see if it goes from daylight savings to standard time November 3rd.

Another follow up. Got in Passport this morning and clock was an hour behind again. I then took it off automatic time zone and put it to Eastern time (daylight savings). On a side note, my daughter has a 2015 CRV with navigation and has never had to adjust her clock (from daylight savings to eastern standard).
You passed thru a time warp.

This clock time error is a real strange one! SteveZ's problem is the first one I've heard of with our PP's.
If that's my only issue I'm a happy camper. I can reset my clock twice a year. ?

Good point, Standard and Daylight savings time. I wish they would eliminate the time change and just live with standard time. One less thing to remember to change.

I noticed this evening that my clock in Elite is one hour slow too (Eastern). It's been set to automatic time zone.

Well now . . . yesterday we noticed that our clock was off by an hour! Yes, it has been set to the correct time since picking it up a few weeks ago, with the setting to automatically update (daylight savings). We live a short 50 kilometer drive from the time change (Pacific) from Mountain and had a couple of weeks ago, made a day trip that involved traveling to and from the Pacific time zone. It successfully changed to and from Pacific time . . . and has had the correct time until yesterday . . . so, here is a second example of the time changing on its' own which I dare say, will likely result in some other examples making an appearance! :D

A few days ago I looked at the clock in my Elite, off by one hour and was set to automatic update. After finding the correct settings for date & time, the Elite is now on Pacific time. Should check the date sometime soon; this might be the cause of one hour shift in time.

My touring clock was off by one hour today. It too was set to automatic time zone. I put it manually to eastern. I am smack dab in the middle of the time zone so it should not be confused.
So I fixed my auto timezone issue. I decided to pull the fuse for my radio(located under the hood spot 29) and then plug it back in. When I turned the car back I opened the navigation app and it said 'acquiring satellites' as soon as the process finished it reset the clock to the proper time. Time, date, and timezone all set to automatic in the menu.

For now lol!
