Canadian trim specifications way different from the US?

The Canadian trim specifications were released yesterday. https://www.honda.ca/passport/trims

I just find it way different than the US ones and in a good way. Three trims only. All have AWD. No FWD option. All trims have heated steering wheel. Sport trim comes with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. I am thinking about the sport trim now since it is not different than the EX-L by much.

The only thing that is not clear is the screen size for the radio/Apple CarPlay unit. They don’t mention if it is different at all.

The Canadian version is always quite different from the US version.
I am upset that you can't get Nav on the EX-L like I have on my 2017 Pilot EX-L. That is one feature I really like. If you want it you have to pay a few thousand more for the Touring. I also prefer the EX-L wheels over the black Canadian touring wheels.
They try to rip you off one way or the other.

Honestly, I don’t see the real value of Nav if you have Apple CarPlay/android auto. I will probably never use it. My wife has a Camry with Nav and no Apple CarPlay and we still stick our iPhones on a car mount and use our google maps or Apple ones. I think with the current configuration, sport trim becomes reasonable unless it has that small radio like in the US.

My problem is that I usually leave the iPhone at home, hate to be connected all the time.

Oh I can’t function without it. That is why Apple CarPlay is a must for me. Wireless Apple CarPlay would have been better but that is only available on BMW for now.
