There also may be a maintenance minder specific to the cabin filter replacement to reset but I could be wrong on that part.

I usually change these out, along with wiper blades and engine air filters in both vehicles once a year, in the spring, with the inexpensive filters from Amazon or Walmart. Takes only a few minutes.

"Easy peazy" service. Some photos to go along with this service (Maintenance Minder "2") at approximately 30,000 miles or 15,000 miles for severe conditions...

#1: OEM dust & pollen (cabin) air filter part number...

#2: Open glovebox, empty contents and squeeze top left & right rear of the sides to release the catch tabs...

#3: Squeeze the left & right tabs to release the cabin air filter tray...

#4: Replace cabin air filter in tray. NOTE direction of airflow on the filter and pleats aligned left/right. Per post #1, the front-most and rear-most pleats should be fitted into their respective slots...

#5: Reverse above steps to complete service and reset your Maintenace Minder "2" after completing remaining service.
