Anyone have info regarding brake dimensions on the PP vs the Gen 5 CRV? Are they possibly the same? Thanks.

will not fit.
you can select a rotor for Gen 5 CRV and change the car to 2019 Passport. They all say "will not fit".
Wonder if it’s the different bolt pattern but the rotor diameter is the same?????‍♂?‍♂?‍♂?‍♂

I see some folks going to 17” wheels on there PP and the base CRV trim has 17” wheels.
Regardless of rotor diameter, bolt pattern is different between the Passport and CR-V. Wheels are also not interchangeable between the two cars.

Passport: Bolt pattern: 5 x 120mm
CR-V: Bolt pattern: 5 x 114.3mm
Obviously the bolt pattern is different (114.3 vs 120mm)......I‘m just thinking the PP rotor diameter can’t be much larger in diameter than the CRV due to folks are using 17” wheels on their PP.

Which brings up another question......how much clearance between the caliper and 17” wheel? Obviously enough.......but how much?

Below are the specs for brake rotors. It does not account for the brake caliper which is necessary to determine clearance for interior wheel diameter. Tolerance is tight for 17" wheels, but should be fine if there is no rubbing. If you are concern with dirt build up for off-road use, go with a larger diameter wheel. What are your concerns?

Thanks for that info. Seems odd the PP rotors are smaller in the front, larger in the rear.?‍♂ My concern is installing caliper covers when using 17” wheels. Probably need 18” minimum.?‍♂

That is odd for the rear rotors to be larger. Honda's website confirms the rotor dimensions.

Aside from aesthetics, brake covers would be bad for brakes? Heat is an enemy for braking efficiency, brake pad and brake fluid. If aesthetics is a priority, a high temperature paint application would be better, but involves more work.
Covers actually work similar to a heat sink and lower temps.....that’s what I read at calipercovers.com. Don’t have a PP (yet), but have covers on our CRV. When/if the time comes, hopefully they will fit another Honda.
