Body issues

On touring AWD, my driver door does not shut with light pull. I have to put some more strength to shut closed. Not slam it, but more strength. I've noticed that on my wife's 2018 CR-V Ex light pull does the job of closing. Is that adjustable? Should I take it back for them to fix it? It's only been 24 days since I bought.

Mine is uber tight - the way I want it. The last door to close is the one that takes some extra umf.
I’ve noticed that on my touring model. Sometimes I have to push/pull harder that I would is normal
Well, you cannot compare a CRV or any other models (except maybe a Pilot) to the amount of pressure it takes to close your drivers door. But you can compare it to the Passenger side door, the rear doors and even other Passports.

I had a 4-door BMW and the rear drivers-side door ALWAYS closed harder (took more pressure to close it) and I had it for 10 years, so I think I know what you mean.

There are a lot of things going on with doors, you have the door itself, the hinges, the body of the car, the weather-stripping on multiple sides of the door and if the car body has additional weather-stripping, there is that too!

If it is very noticeable and bothersome, I'd take it back to the dealer, get with your salesman and tell him you want to "slam" some other Passport doors and if it is readily apparent and you get him on your side, then have him go with you to the Service department..

Good luck...

PS: After reading the other posts, I agree that the last door closed - closes harder due to the air-tight seal of the vehicle, VW Bugs used to do this big time!

So crack your window and then close it, it should close easier and prove out, that nothing is amiss...

I am having the same issue with my PP Touring also on the driver door. All other doors closes fine with a light pull or push. I used to own a 2016 Pilot and it didn’t have this issue. I think I’ll take it back to the dealer soon because it’s really starting to bother me.
Still have this issues and I took it to the dealer. They told me it should get better with time.
Muscle memory adjusted, so it is not an issue now.

I have a Touring with the same issue, but agree with the dealer that it will get better with time. It doesn't take a lot of extra pressure and I would rather have the vehicle tight.
