When you get a new car, you start to see them everywhere. I don't see other Passports that often, but I'm starting to see black wheels all the time.

Winter, what does it mean for you? Snow, cold, crappy long cold period of time? Moderate pleasant temps with the occasional cold front weather little to no rain possible? I would go with the rim that supports a tire suited for.
Both look nice.

I vote "silver". And, I know it's a losing cause. A lot of people love the "Bad A**" black wheels, but the look has saturated our landscape to the point of being meaningless. (When a person can buy a minivan with a factory blackout package, it's time to go.)

Besides, I'm old enough to remember when having a black wheel meant that a hubcap fell off...

I wasn't too impressed when I first read that the new Passport was going to have black wheels, but I've grown to like them.

Up here where they salt the roads, get the wheel that is protected the most. Salt will eat an unprotected aluminum wheel up in a heart beat....

Silver, decon wash, chemical correct, clay and ceramic coat. Should be good for winter with routine washes. Repeat for next winter.

Your choice will be good either way. Both look great and can’t go wrong. I was faced with this dilemma recently and couldn’t decide and my wife was tired of hearing about so she said get both sets. Ok? Yes!
