Hello. I live in Alaska and commute about 50 miles each way to work on a daily basis. I just purchased a Black Elite from Seattle and am waiting on it's arrival. I enjoy road trips with my wife and 2 mastiffs, back country skiing, BJJ, hiking and causing trouble with my side by side. Any tips for helping this vehicle facilitate any of these things better let me know. I'm looking at roof rack options for cargo and skis right now. Otherwise I added the 5k lb towing package, fender flares, the Jsport skid plate
4710
and all the mats and protective interior parts that Honda offered. Glad there's a forum for this vehicle. I've got some reading to do.

Welcome Wrecktal and congrats! It sounds like you are going to the one to put their PP through some intense conditions and I for one, will love to hear about your adventures and how it holds up! I'm also thinking yo may want/need to swap out the 20" tires/rims for some off-road capable 18" tires/rims, any plans on doing that?

Yes that's going to happen before the end of Jan. Looking at 18in rims and Hancook Ipikes for now. Summer tire wise I'll probably go with Nittos not sure which yet. I've already purchased the Jsport skid plate. They need to release their bull bar soon. I need more lights lol. Leveling kit will be third on the list.

Cool, any thoughts of getting the Jsport lift kit for some added clearance?

How about one of those thick tubular grill guards, to protect against elk, deer and bears?
