I saw a Black Copper Pearl. In the sunlight it shows a rich brownish color. Looks like a color on a high priced exotic luxury car. It was an Elite model and I was looking for a Touring. If it were a Touring model I would have bought it.

I saw both at the dealership and was very interested in the Black Copper but when we were at the dealership it was a very overcast day and both just looked black. I did get a chance to see the Copper one in the sun on a return trip and I thought it looked great, but again, it's going to depend on lighting conditions.

Agree. When I saw the Black Copper, it looked like just another BLACK. I suppose in states where it's sunny most of the time, the Copper would show better. I was very interested in getting that color but living in the Northeast, the car would look black 8 months out of the year ...

Test drove Passport Touring today. Local honda dealer buildings are in renovation, all their Hondas were dusty n dirty.

young sales-slug said, i got keys for this black, Touring. Test ride was pretty short but nice. I parked in different area after. He says, Oh this a dark green one. I could now see the very dark, metal flake in the sun. Esp where i wiped dirt away.
Nice but still looked mostly black. Such a dark green.

Before deciding on White, I test drove a Black Copper and was close to taking this color based purely on lot availability (never a good idea) Initially my first choice was the Modern Steel Metalic (Gunmetal Gray), which i've seen many PP owners spring for. Anyway didn't have the Modern Steel Touring Trim with Black interior on the lot, and closest delivery/dealer switch was June 15th (meh), They had a White nearby, and it was the contrast between Black grill, and Fender Flares, that sealed this color for me. Anyway Back to the Black Copper. --- (all personal opinion emphasis) - Something about this color irked me. I'm a Millennial with a small family, who camp and outdoor recreation often.(Prime target audience for the PP), But the Black Copper has that Old Man color feel to it. ( I'm talking about, Copper Brown, Metallic Green, Baby Shit Brown, etc) and that got under my skin. I live in Oregon now, but i'm from Florida, and old man color scheme sickens me. lol So Black Forest Pearl is my vote. All day long. Anyway take your time on the decision, and if anything, even the slightest gut feeling, feels off about the color choice, be patient and have a look at other color options. Color regret would fucking suck.
