Yes, it is the unfortunate season of scammers and thieves. Reminds me of a story from many years back. My uncle was shopping at Gemco during Christmas season. He came out to the parking lot and this dude was selling brand new TV's out of his van for dirt cheap. Boxed up and ready. My uncle even opened the box and looked.
Got it home and plugged it in. Nothing. Opened the back and it was empty except for rocks to add weight. My dad laughed so hard!! He warned my uncle over and over not to buy it. Of course my uncle rushed back to the Gemco and the dude was long gone.

Glad to see I'm not the only one getting old here LOL!! Another old school store was Market Basket. We used to ride our bicycles over there and dream longingly of the 2 stroke mini bike behind the glass showcase inside the store.
