Yes, it should be shown on the PO as a discount.
Thanks.Yes, it should be shown on the PO as a discount.
But the discount is only if you finance through Honda. All good info. Heading out today to do battle for an Elite. Hoping to leave OTD at 42500-43000 .
Question on the Military $500 rebate. Is it an instant rebate right there on the spot? Thanks
Awe crap. Its always something. I was gonna write a check for the whole thing. I try to make these things simple and easy as possible, but somehow there always seems to be a way to make these deals drag out and take hours. Even if I did finance, my fico is off the charts, my credit score is better than perfect and yet they will still wanna make things difficult. ...I dont know sometimes. UGHHHHHHH.But the discount is only if you finance through Honda.
Yes, I am a member of Navy Federal and VyStar(the old Jax Navy Credit union), but like I said, Im paying cash(check). Appreciate the thanks as well.Hey Jaxx, if you are in the military and not already a member of the Navy Federal Credit Union, you can join on-line for $5, then use their Car Buying Service.
I did this in March, when none of the local dealers would sell any lower than full MSRP and got a Touring model for approx. $2,600 under MSRP.
A lot of people have gotten better deals than this since then, but it kinda depends on your area.
Good luck and thank you for your service!
Yea, i know cash doesnt matter to them. I actually think they prefer that you finance... We'll see. About to pull into dealership now......I doesn't matter how you pay, I did not finance thru them, I simply used their buying service. I used it to get the best price, go to their on-line car buying service, and enter the vehicle you want and then serch for local dealers who use the NFCU pricing, there is no haggling, they pull out a price sheet and show you what the price is.
Like I said, by now and depending on your area, you may be able to get a better price without using the NFCU, but it's nice to know as a baseline, especially if you are paying cash.
Another note: Dealers don't really care about cash, they get their money anyway (even when financed).. So cash does not have the power it once did. Let us know how it goes...
Nicely executed! Are you a USAA member? I got over 4000 below MSRP on a touring using a combo of USAA//True Car and Costco prices.
Oh if I did you guys would have loved it. Just got back, with a 45 min lunch at Olive Garden thrown in(barf). We hit 5 dealers. One that said last week they would hold a White Elite, but didnt have it any longer. Another had none on the lot but he could get me one in an hour( he lied , I know this because we hit all the other dealers within an hours drive). Drove to St. Augustine, about 30 min away for one that the dealer Ive been texting all week said he had one.... Got there and it was all dirty and had 300 miles on it, turns out he had it driven up from Orlando because he said the other one sold.(sure).Cool can you stream the whole process live?
(lol)

It's a great color - been about that color on my 4 other Honda's and never had any complaints.Modern Steele is looking nice too, thats the next option.
Yeah, as long as you finance through them.I actually think they prefer that you finance...
