When setting the Auto Interior Illumination Sensitivity setting so the dash will dim when the headlights are in Auto mode you have the option to set thie to Min/Low/Mid/High/Max. The default is Mid but if I want to lower the dash setting do I set it to Low or High? I tried to adjust the setting after dark and changing to Min did not change to dash also changing to Max did not change the dash.. The owners manual is not clear.

The interior illumination sensitivity triggers when the interior lights dim to their "night" setting and is separate from when the headlights come on. To change the brightness of the interior back lighting use the "+" and "-" minus buttons on the dash behind the right side of the steering wheel.

Attache instructions are for dimming the instrument cluster and not the interior lights. This is what I am asking

It's a setting for the sensitivity of when the lights will adapt to the environment. Not the actual brightness of the lights.

If you want it to adapt quicker, set it to High. If you want it to adapt slower, set it to Low.

If you want the lights in the instrument cluster to be dimmer/brighter that's near the cluster.

So Mid is probably a good overall setting. Thanks
I kinda wish the ambient lighting is separate from the brightness of the screens because I like to run my screens dim at night and as a result the ambient lighting is a bit dim.
