Anyone knows how (if possible) to adjust the sensitivity of the automatic headlight? I find it is a bit too sensitive.

There is a setting for it.

also the instructions are confusing...Max= lights come on sooner, Min=lights come when it is darker out
I wish there were a way to have the headlights shut off when the engine shuts off. Currently they only shut off when the front door is shut. There are lots of times when I turn off the engine and remain in the car for a while, and I would the headlights to shut off too.
I do not have that setting. Canadian model quirk?

Hmmm . I would think that setting would be in all models ... Is that the only one of the above settings you don't have?
Yes it is the only one. I have the Canadian Touring model.

For ^this reason and also that I have always found it disconcerting to walk away from the car with the lights still on, I just do it the old fashioned way. Turn the lights on manually when I need them, turn them off when I am done.

Some of the differences between the US and Canadian versions I can understand; this one is a bit of a mystery to me.
Can you guys confirm that you actually have this option? I wonder if it is simply a mistake in the owner's manual.

Thank you. I'll write to Honda Canada to see what they say about it.
My problem is that setting is only for when they come on and off, I want a sensitivity setting for when they low and high beam the on coming traffic. To my knowledge there is no setting for that.
I have a 2020 Elite and the Auto Dim Brights worked for about 2 weeks. It hasn’t worked for the last 8 months they stay on when vehicles pass by. Just one of the Auto features that never seem to work.

The time that headlights are on can be changed in the settings shown above "Headlight Auto Off timer" section

If you roll the light switch to the "off" position (which it then rebounds/springs back to auto) the lights turn off immediately when stopped/parked. I wish this switch had an actual "off" position it would stay in, but it seems we're too stupid to remember to turn off/on our own lights...based on what I see out there day to day there might be some truth in this.

Interesting comment. My lights turn off and stay off until I turn them back on or to auto. No ”rebound”. Perhaps yours is a Canada feature?

My switch will not stay in the off position it is spring-loaded and goes immediately back to the on position. Perhaps it is due to the daytime running lights. I'll have to research more.

Mine has DRL too and they do stay on when PP is on. I just happened to be working on the map update in my garage and had the headlights off. Switch stayed in off position until I put it back into auto. Interesting.
