Hello! I have the 2019 Passport Elite and everything worked fine for the first 2 weeks then I used the Nav system and now siri will not work in my carplay. Carplay comes up on the screen and you can push the buttons but when you try and tell her to do something she either says that she cannot hear you or has lost her internet connection but in reality she has not as I can unplug her and ask the same question and she will answer. The mic in the Passport works. I have done factory reset on radio and iPhone. Been on the phone over 2 hours with Apple support and cannot figure it out - any suggestions? Other than that, I really like the Passport. Thanks!

I have experienced this once or twice on my Elite. Not sure if you are also wearing an Apple Watch. It seemed like the watch and CarPlay were confusing each other. Both time it straightened itself out after the car was turned off.

I can confirm that I’m having this very same issue. Siri works with the phone but when plugged into my Honda it reports that it’s having a problem with the connection. I have spent about 2hrs on the phone with Apple and pretty much exhausted all the possibilities with the phone. They are out of ideas. With other Honda owners having exactly the same issue it strongly points to a problem with the car. Now how do we go about Honda accepting the issue and investigating it ?

Good news folks, Apple has just released 12.3.1 and does appear to have fixed the problem. Of course it's early days yet and of course no promises ;)

I have the Passport and have not got to Siri yet. I can't get past the iphone problems. I know Honda has known about these problems but don't seem to be in a hurry to find a fix. Had two Ford escape in the past with 0 problems, so I know it can be fixed. Maybe should have stuck with .E.scape,

We are having the same issue with our Touring. I tried to update the infotainment system and it says it’s up to date. I’ll be contacting the dealer tomorrow this is a pain in the ass.

How does your passport freak out which makes you reboot with a keyboard?
Thanks,
