I placed an order & deposit on a 2026 Passport Trailsport Elite, ash green with the brown interior, no blackout, on March 28th. As of today it has not arrived at my dealer in New Mexico, and my sales guy can't even get me a "born" date so I don't know the status. Anybody got any insight into how long it should take to get this vehicle and why my dealer can't get a born date? Also...anybody know if any tarrifs are being levied on the price of this vehicle?

I placed my order on an Ash Green Trailsport on March 6th; i was told i have a build date of June 18th, so i suspect yours may be around early July? Hang tight, almost :)

I put a deposit down on one with the exact build as yours on May 20th. My dealer checked his allocation sheet and was able to tell me that it was scheduled to be built between June 25-29 and would be probably be delivered within 2 weeks after the production date. He said the VIN should be created a week before production and he would send it to me when he gets it. After I put the deposit down he gave me a copy of the order form with the order reference number and that it was changed from dealer stock to customer reservation with my name on it and indicates that it's pre-sold. BTW your color combo in Honda's build terminology is GQ/BW

The dealer I went to was the second one of the day. The first dealer said they didn't have any allocations coming to them in the build I wanted and I should check other dealers. Check with your dealer again, they can tell you if they're allocated for one like you want. When I reserved mines in May he had all of his allocation production dates up to the end of July or maybe even early August.

It sounds like they knew they didn't have any allocations in your build but didn't want you going anywhere else to buy.

I'm going to put out a general message of caution regarding tariffs because frankly anything we speak about is going to be speculative and no one really knows anything nor can anyone really do anything about it. It has been a hot button topic of late and I've seen most discussions go sideways on countless websites I participate in.

The way I see it is whatever the price of the car is, it is the price of the car and you either pay the price and get the car or you don't pay the price and you don't get the car.

OP seems to have left the chat a while ago but update to my previous post. Mines was built on 6/25 just as the dealer's allocation sheet indicated and it was delivered yesterday, I'm picking it up tomorrow. Dealer says they go in the system for their allocations and mark the vehicle as pre-sold with the owner's name and Honda's system marks your build as priority so they can expedite delivery after production. Your car then skips the line of dealer stock orders and is put on the first available shipment to your dealer's area.
