Any experience with using EcoTune devices for gas mileage savings?

ill be honest.... i have ZERO supporting evidence for what im going to say. But dont waste your money. A Factory tune is the most reliable for most situations. Manufacturers like Honda spend millions in engine design and development all while trying to achieve optimal characteristics to provide both power and fuel efficiency.... My first hand recommendation , is monitor the real time fuel MPG meter and practice throttle control. When at a cruising speed, back off the pedal just enough to maximize efficiency while retaining constant speed. Cruise control DOES NOT do this..... you must do it yourself. Its a game i play everytime i drive, or just press the damn eco button and be done with it.... anyways How efficient will you be next time? LOL .... idk im bored at work

It's all scam. Stuff like OBD2 plugs and some kind of intake air swirl thing its all scam.
Do you really think if it was that easy, Honda would have used all of them instead of going through the trouble to add cylinder deactivation.

Thanks for the insights Jason. My BS meter is flashing bright red that this some sort of miracle gadget. Much appreciated.
