With the Garman navi in my Luna Silver Elite I was expecting to have a compass, but having an altimeter is really an unexpected and nice addition. Impressions?

Yes, I find it interesting when driving through the mountains to check the altitude. Nice feature.

Really? I did not see that, can wait to go to my fav camp site, which is at 7800 ft...

Touch the tab on the lower left corner. I just discovered it myself.

Where is this feature setting? I am not finding anything in the manual.

I don't believe it is mentioned in the manual. When you have the Nav system operating, touch the tab in the lower left corner and you'll see a list of information related to your currently programmed destination.
