How you guys feeling about this tires 3 years later?
I still love my wheel and tires choices, I did correct myself and say THERE IS SOME PASSENGER SIDE RUBBING.

It will eventually peel up layers on the inner plastic liner and become a bit louder, I trimmed these stray pieces off, but at full lock/turn you do hear some rubbing.

There is a thread here, where a guy took his tire off, removed the liner, did a little pounding and replaced some larger-headed screws/bolts, then reinstalled the liner and that corrected everything. I may do this eventually, but it is low priority to me right now..

Look for the thread....

Anyway, I love these tires and will stay with them when they need replacing and I still love the Rims (and the best part is) -----> NOT ONE blemish or curb rash incident since switching over...!

Finally pulled the trigger on them, the American Tire Depot made me an incredible offer, one that was just too good to pass up:

The tires are Continental TerrainContact AT, 265R60/18, Tire Rack sells them for $215 ($860 for 4), I got them for $600 for all 4!

They are supposedly 1" taller than the OEM Tires/Wheels, but still looks like plenty of clearance (Clarence)!

They deeply discounted the Wheels as well! They are Black Rhino "Arches", 18x8" with a 30mm Offset. I ordered the Brushed Aluminum colored wheels, but they look much darker than on the website, they look almost black (I saw the boxes but still wonder if black wheels didn't get mixed in somehow(?), but they are a dark gray which matches my body color just fine. I like these wheels, as the guys in the neighborhood with the big-boy trucks all have ones that have the hex-bolt heads around the outside, like these do, I think it gives it the rugged look I was after...

The 30mm Offset is approx. 1" MORE than the OEM wheels, but since the Width of the Arches wheels are 1/2" thinner (8.0" vs 8.5"), they barely stick out. (Check out my Pavers Driveway, it's gray of course....)

Rear Tires/Wheel view, looking straight down, again barely sticks out! (Like my Merrell Sandals with socks? my wife hates this look...)

Now I have only driven about 20 miles on the set-up so far, I can tell the difference when I hit minor bumps as the taller sideway abosrbs the impact better. I'll give some more updates as I get more miles on them, but feel free to ask anything about them....

Hi, StevenD. Wondering how the Continentals are doing noise-wise, since you've had them on for a couple of years now? I went with Nitto Terra Grapplers in 255/60/18 and they were relatively quiet for the first 30K miles and they're howling! I admittedly didn't rotate them as often as I should, although the local Honda dealer in RSM told me twice that they didn't need to be rotated, even though I'd asked them to do so. In any event, I just got my PP back from the dealer who had it since 11-3-22 trying to solve a water intrusion issue. They say it's fixed but I'll have to wait for the next storm to confirm. Anyway, they ended up rotating the rears to the front this time and, WOW! The PP sounds like an Abrams tank. They have a lot of tread after 34K miles on them but there's no way I'm going to keep them on the vehicle. The loaner the dealership let me use was a newer Pilot and I got used to the quietness and ride, but was shocked to hear how loud these tires are now. They weren't nearly as loud prior to the rotation. Perhaps it's something else. So, at your convenience, please let me know how your treads are doing, especially in the noise department. I look forward to your response and thank you in advance. Merry Christmas!

Well, I don't drive much, just over 28k, right now, but, I do rotate and the Continentals seem just as smooth and quiet as Day-1.

I seem to recall hearing the same thing about Nitto's, they do look super aggressive, but I need quiet...

I do get them off road much, but I am super happy with them and would go with them again, without hesitation.

One thing to think about: Nitto's mostly makes Off-Road Tires (don't they?) and I recall reading the story, where Continental took several years of R&D before they came out with theirs and since they were/are primarily a Street Tire company, it makes sense they paid a great amount of detail to how their tires wear..

Cheers and Merry Christmas to you as well...!
