AEM Short Ram Long Term
Hey everyone,
I've been lurking for months, but decided to post since I couldn't find the info I was looking for.
Who has had an AEM intake installed for a significant length of time?
I had a K&N on my 2012 accord. Love the throat punch of VTEC in a short ram.
I see plenty of posts from people right after install. I also see plenty of comments/reviews of Lean Bank codes/AWD codes caused by it.
Everything points to vacuum leak/MAF malfunction. After reading an in-depth review of an experienced installer, it sounds like an ECU issue.
Anyone out there running one without codes for more than a couple months?
