My 2021 Sport did not come with a cargo area 12V outlet nor is there apparently any hole where one should be. Before I go digging too far by trying to remove panels would anyone be able to answer one of these questions:

1. Does the harnessing exist already in that area? (i.e. the wiring harness is standard across the trims but they simply didn't install the socket) because that would simplify things greatly.
2. In case I have to route power myself, is there a straightforward cable routing duct/path that goes from the cargo area to the engine compartment or at least up to the passenger compartment fuse boxes?

Actually not that difficult or time consuming to verify, just a few clips and screws.
Review instructions for trailer wiring harness instructions regarding how to remove left wheel well cover, and all wires and harnesses are visible.
Seems there's only one harness back there which is the 14-pin harness but that's only judging from the PDF and using an inspection mirror to look up inside the well cover. So I wonder if the rear socket shares power with the trailer harness?

I guess I'll need to probe around in there with a multimeter as well to see if that harness (or at least the hot side of the fuse) is always hot or if it's only hot when the engine is on since that's going to be important as well.

I can't seem to find any information about what harness pigtails might exist for that 12V accessory outlet in the cargo area. It's not clear even by looking at the harness itself whether there's a missing harness or if it uses the existing 14-pin connector that normally goes to the trailer harness. Thoughts from anyone, especially anyone that does have a 12V accessory outlet would be helpful.

So the answer is no, the accessory outlet is a completely separate harness that runs alongside the harness with the trailer connector. However, that trailer connector appears to have quite a few power circuits including the 30A and at least one 20A circuit so if I can find the connector without buying a whole harness I can get power back there. Now, where to get that giant 30A fuse.

@agcme Did you make any progress on this? Just curious; I'm debating running a set of 12ga wires from the battery to the cargo area for a 12v multi outlet at this point lol.
No, I haven't found anyone that can tell me the manufacturer part number of the connector so it's not really usable for me unless I feel like shelling out for an entire trailer module just to have a connector. The car is a lease and I've found that I don't really like it so I won't be keeping it after the lease is up which means I'm not going to bother doing much customization to it. I may run some cable under the car to the back so I can install some radios but whatever I do will be fully and easily reversible so I don't waste my time installing it or removing it.
