Just added Passport number two to my garage yesterday. Touring trim, Deep Scarlet Pearl with Gray interior.
It replaced a BMW X3 M40i. The BMW was super quick 0-60 4.4 sec. and super dynamic handling. It just was not my ideal everyday driver/roadtrip SUV for Colorado. Now I have a second very functional vehicle built for Colorado and road trips. The Passport still reminds me of a big old box rolling down the road with a buch of unpainted black plastic plastered all over it. It is lacking for style and appearance but, I think it is the best overall mainstream 2 row mid size on the market.

Did you consider the Acura MDX?

Nope. The MDX if I'm not mistaken is a three row midsize. I wanted 2 row midsize. 3 rows up means very little cargo space. Even with the 3rd down you lose cago space due to armrests and cup holder for the 3rd row. Also the MDX is in a difference class than the Passport. Although not a luxury crossover, the MDX is a premium class crossover and quite a bit more expensive than the mainstream catagory Passport.
