Hello, folks!

So I have a 2019 Passport EX-L that I had to have a windshield replaced. Via my insurance (Progressive), I had to leverage Safelite to arrange for the repair, as that who is handles glass repair for Progressive. After a REALLY horrible experience with Safelite (improperly installed windshield on a previous vehicle resulting in over $5K of water damage), I asked them to provide another service provider to replace the windshield - which they have to do.

So, I took it to that service provider to have the new windshield installed, and was told that I needed to have the cameras recalibrated. I took it to my dealer the next day, who did that work. This was about 3 weeks ago.

AT FIRST
Things seemed to be working well. Between the "ACC" and "LKAS" green text, the small car icon showed up, with the ability to adjust distance for the ACC to kick in. LKAS is working just fine, detecting lane departures, etc.

CURRENT STATE
A week later, for no reason, the small car icon is gone and has been replaced by text that says "CRUISE MODE". Even though the ACC green text is to the left, the ACC system is completely not working, at all. LKAS, however, is still fine. Cruise control also works, albeit with no ACC.

TODAY
I took it back to the dealer, they took another look. After an hour and a half, I was told the technician didn't see any problems - and, "Sometimes these issues come and go." I left the dealer and immediately saw NOTHING had changed. Still no car icon, ACC says it's on, but not working.

I then called another Honda dealer here in town. They stated that unless I have Honda glass installed, they will not be able to help. They stated it was a decision they have made at that particular dealer, as they have had too many non- issues with ACC/LKAS after aftermarket windshields have been installed.

QUESTION
Have any of you had this issue at all?
And if so, what did you end up doing to get it addressed?

I am checking here, as this is the second instance of my dealer telling me everything is OK, when it is clearly not. I also am having the "rumble strip" noise happen at about 45-50MPH after I had a hitch and transmission cooler installed by them. In reading other posts here, it sounds like Honda states that's "expected behavior"; but I am starting to doubt the dealer that I have going to for over 12 years because of these issues...

Many thanks for your time!

Sorry to hear your dealership seems like they completely want to wash their hands of it. I'm not sure if you have tried, and you may have, but have you tried switching between the modes to see if it's stuck? If there was a camera issue I would imagine there would be a warning on the dash but I could be wrong.

Here is another thread on the forum that might be of help.

I don't have the transmission cooler myself but have also heard that the rumble strip feeling is normal per Honda.

Thanks so much, folks! Indeed, it seems that I turned the adaptive cruise control on two years ago when I got the car, and had never turned it off. My guess is that the dealership did the recalibration but did not turn it back on. Feeling rather stupid, but at least this is taken care of!

No problem!
I've had my fair share of moments. I got my Touring in April this year and never used the auto high beams. Never had a car with them and never cared to try them. Last month I had to get my fuel injectors replaced at 8,000k miles or so, under warranty. Well when I picked it up at the dealer they had the lights set to on when I started it. Thought nothing of it. Once away from the city lights my headlights started flashing at random (or so I thought). I almost panicked and turned around to go back to the dealer. Through my panic I remembered that auto high beams ARE a feature on this vehicle and sure enough it was set to auto.
Happens to the best of us. Cheers! Hope you enjoy your Passport.
