Anyone tried this tire and size combo> 255/55/R20 Michelin Defender LTX M/S?
I have a 2021 pp sport and want to stay with the 20's but looking for something a little more smooth and quite.
Im sure it's on the forum somewhere but wow, lots of tire and wheel post out there!

265/50/R20s for me. I get a slight rub if I crank the wheel all the way. Ride is great.

Thanks for the info! I've had several sets of these on my 08 Pilot, 16s of course. Great all around tire.
Will definitely look for these when the OE continentals need to be swapped.

Found this in the 2021 owner's manual concerning tires, it seems to imply that some passports have different size tires and rims?

So the 255/55/r20 would diffently rub then.
Not necessarily, tdenny's wheels are not OEM meaning they probably have a 35mm offset (which is most common for aftermarket wheels). PP OEM wheels have a 55mm offset, which translates to the aftermarket wheel / tire sticking out 20mm or 3/4". This would cause the tire to rub the back of the wheel well at full lock. If your intentions are to use the stock 20 wheels it's possible there would be no rubbing.

I have a passport 2021 exl. Could I fit 255/50/20 tires on stock rims? I hate the ones it comes with…
I just put 255/50/20's on the stock rims and there is no rubbing. I could probably have gone to 265's from looking at clearances after the install. Also remember mine is FWD so it is a bit lower ride height than AWD. I am pleased with my choice as the ride is both smoother and quitter. I put them on in Nov and just the other day was first chance to use them in the rain and what a difference from the Contie's.

What tires did you put on if I may ask? I’m looking at maybe A/Ts. Thanks!
