They are basically a continuation of the LEDs that are under the running boards, but they shine down below the rear bumper, sorry for pic quality

Upgraded lighting today
Installed Diode Dynamics SL1 LED high beams, 5000k interior LEDs and changed the cup holder LED to blue.

Passport really looks great, but I really like the original grill better. I looked at adding those ground effect rear lights, OMG, what a nightmare to install. I'll skip 'em this round. 😉

The original was too busy/glossy for me, I find this one much sleeker and simpler. Looking at all of these OEM installation instructions makes me glad I had the dealer install it all before we took delivery.

Yeah, that way you know it's done right and under warranty too. I ordered the rear seat protectors yesterday for when I have the seats down, i saw those on an earlier post and since i throw ski's, bikes, etc. in the back of my PPT, I thought it's a wise investment.

I'm not very happy with the LED high beams, while the bulbs are extremely high quality, the "scatter effect" is bothersome and I was on the fence about LEDs in reflector housings to begin with. I will be replacing them with Hella Optilux 3000k halogen bulbs soon.

Sure, I added this item to the pre threaded hole near the driver side fender under the hood.

I didn't think it was necessary, I put my tester on it and got a strong reading.

Switched the LED high beams back to halogens. 65w Hella Optilux XY. Much, much better now, no more scatter. Nothing against the DD LEDs, they are extremely well built, they just don't belong in a reflector housing.

Added Premium Auto Styling taillight overlays and front amber deletes, very easy install and makes it look a little meaner IMO.

Also installed the Garmin Mini 2 Dash cam and Dongar USB adapter (7 pin is the correct connector for our mirror)

Dash cam is the best idea!! Those can really save your bacon.

What did you do to your Honda Passport today?

Installed a new CV boot today. Torn while trying to install the traxda 2” lift, I’d say I can take apart this knuckle assembly with my eyes closed at this point.
