Hello everyone, quick question, has anyone swap out the chrome grill part out to a gloss black? I’ve been trying to see if anyone has done it before or even warped it before. Thank you.

I don't think anyonehere has done such a mod. The Front Grille Garnish for the TrailSport trim is black, if you can find that to order online or through your dealer you can do a direct swap. Wrapping your present Grille Garnish is also an option.

The video below shows how to remove the front bumper of the 2019-2021 Honda Passport but the instructions should work for the 2022 too.

I had mine wrapped with matte black 3M.. was like 40 bucks and looks great..will,take pic

I only did the chrome trim. Price was 80.00 installed 3M matte Black. 40:was to tint sunroof.. He did not take the chrome piece off he left it on in place..

I also have a 22' and looked at wrapping but my guy said wrap really takes a beating in that position on the car and over time will struggle (but you got it for cheap, so no biggie).

I went with this Honda OEM piece that you can buy in gloss black, it's the same one on the Elite and the ridgeline.

The one I linked is essentially a color match to my black passport. Otherwise looks like all the passports with black grills, very clean.

I bought the black grill piece linked in the comments above from the Ridgeline store to replace the chrome grill piece on my 2022 Honda Passport. I couldn't find a 2022/2023 Passport video that shows how to replace it, but this Ridgeline video is exactly the same as my 2022 Passport. I don't have any experience with vehicles, and it took me about 5 minutes to replace. Hope this helps someone else.
