If you are lucky enough to be able to see one of the new Passports (any trim) in person, could I ask that you measure the height of the cargo area?
Honda has claimed in their advertising that due to increased cargo space, the new Passport can fit two mountain bikes in the back. We have a reservation for one but dealer says it will not arrive for a few weeks. Really want to find out if bikes will fit.
The measurement that is critical is the height from the cargo load floor to the headliner right near the wheel well. I am assuming that with the new squared off profile the height should be fairly constant right across the width of the vehicle.
If someone could put a tape on this height it would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I've not seen it in person, but the load height looks higher and the rear roof height looks lower than the present gen Passport if one can judge from pictures.

The promotional photo below shows a full size spare carried upright in a recessed slot in thee back with just about a foot left between the top of the tire and the headliner.
