Hi all. Long time Honda fan first time Passport owner. Upgraded from a 2020 civic hatchback sport to a 2023 passport trailsport. I see that there are sensors around the vehicle BUT I don't see any for the front bumper area aside from the 2 on the front side ends. Is there a way to either add some more sensors? If so, would it have to be at a dealership or can Install them myself. Thanks.

You can't add additional parking sensors. You can buy extra and probably mount them on the bumper but there's no extra harness to hook them to.
Really? My wife and I tested it out last night and no notification appeared. She was directly in front of the grille. Maybe it's the honda sensing tech?
I did see harnesses for the sensors and themselves too but didn't see any instructions on how to install them on the bumper and hook them up to the infotainment system. Thanks for the reply btw.
You do know that the “Parking Assist” can be turned on and off? Is yours on?

Whatever harness you saw is not for additional parking sensors.

I don’t really remember the abilities of the sensors on the different trims BUT - I believe my EXL won’t alert me if I am about to hit a stationary object, it only alerts when things are moving (like if a car is driving by). I think the Elite had a fancier version but I really don’t remember, I have never considered adding the more complex safety features. That would be a useful mod if it turns out to be a thing!
