We live in greater Cincinnati. We paid MSRP with no dealer added accessories for a 2022 elite.

One larger area Honda dealer where we’ve bought several times before wanted $2,000 over MSRP plus $800 in dealer added accessories. We considered a trade-in with that dealer and when they low-balled the trade-in it became apparent that they were hiding the markup in the trade value. We found that out when we negotiated the price without the trade-in. Another large area dealer said that $5,000 over sticker was where they “begin negotiations“.

We had to look to find a dealer that was willing to sell at MSRP. We ended up driving about 90 miles to a smaller dealer in greater Louisville.

Upstate NY, I paid MSRP, but then I added tow package + AT cooler, crossbars for the roof rack, and dealer applied ceramic coating. All and all I paid ~45k before tax

Check out Honda Cars of Bellevue | New & Used Honda Dealer in NE in Omaha, Ne. They have a decent inventory and don't mark up prices or do the uncalled for mark-up packages that so many dealers these days are forcing on their buyers. You could do a fly & drive and still save yourself thousands of dollars. Ask for David Quach...

you might have to go outside Cali, and i would never deal with a dealer that is gauging the public with 5k over MSRP, Its wrong there are dealers out there not doing that you just have to find it, i bought both mine in Florida under MSRP

I see it's about a 25 hour drive but that dealer does have a Trailsport in gray! Definitely not paying over MSRP - it's just the darn principle of the deal. Not going to support rip offs

Unless you need to trade something off, I bet you can fly into Eppley Airport cheaper than you can drive. Gas, meals, & a motel room don't come cheap...

Cincinnati area, stealerships are rough these days.. 2022 passport elite, no extra bells , no additional features.. paid a little less than 51k out the door tax title, all the BS filing fees, they even included the green dildo free of charge though.. sadly enough, every passport on the lot had over 170 miles .. so i bought my not so new , new car.. yippy.. i felt like i got royalty screwed after leaving.

And i’m not sure why no negotiations, i later found out most of the elite trims had been on the lot for over 3 months. every dealership in a 100 mile radius has plenty of them sitting in the lot.

My title work has the sold mileage as 34, but it’s incorrect by 150 miles.. dealerships are shady and i laugh when i read people getting their car for 5k less than MSRP and free car washes for life.. i’d happily call them a liar to their face. i asked about veteran discount, costco , college grad.. you name it.. they don’t provide it.

Just got my 2022 elite in San Diego for 47500. Dealer had marked off the 5k adm because it was on the lot for almost 2 months. They also wanted 3k in accessories but I got it down to 700 for them. I went to a bunch of dealerships to see if they had any elites coming and most of the incoming stuff were exl so I offered when they were closing and they took my offer. Pretty happy, the prices in California are ridiculous.
