2022 Elite rear seat heaters

I couldn’t get rear seat heaters to work so I took vehicle to dealer, and they said the front heaters have be on in order for the back ones to operate. Can anyone confirm if this is correct? It seems odd and there’s no mention of this in owner’s manual.

That doesn't even make sense. Maybe they misheard you and were talking about the rear HVAC?
