Come on....... I sure some of you off roaders know!!
Simple Duckduckgo.com search result:

Short answer, it varies based on multiple factors. Start here:

If all else fails, get under the vehicle with a measuring tape and follow the suggestions in the link above for your particular situation.
Thanks for the starting info. So basically, the specific 8.1" ground clearance (low point) beneath the passport is not published by Honda and best determined if you crawl under the vehicle to know exactly where it is. It's a shame this location is not published by Honda. You would think they would want you to know where that point or points are located on the underbelly.

I believe AWD has 8.1” while the FWD has 7.6” ground clearance. I’m not even sure where that half inch comes from either.

Thank you. Exactly where was that 8.1" measured on the underside of Passport?
I have not verified this, but I would begin measuring at the reinforced jack point, behind the front tire, then go to the reinforced jack point in front of the rear tire.
So far, no one knows for certain:unsure:

My post with a link accurately described what EVERY person will need to do to determine their own clearance.

You need to know empty clearance height versus fully loaded (plus full gas tank) clearance values to know the differing clearance heights at any given time.

The generic clearance is given. Do you trust it? I don't.
It's usually generally considered to be the lowest point under the vehicle which is "non-suspension". 'Could be differential, or oil pan, or crossmember, or exhaust, or ... depending on individual vehicle.

Heck, no. That's like the "legroom" dimensions - some mfg's make their seat cushions shorter to give the illusion of legroom. Sly little devils...

Okay......so where is that lowest point on a stock 2021 Honda Passport?
I think I'll have to contact Honda to find where that 8.1" point is.
Thinking that this is not one of the issues on Honda's critical list, so an answer may not be forthcoming anytime soon from Honda corporate.

There is however an easier way to find out. You need one of these.....

Then you crawl under your vehicle and measure the lowest looking points on the vehicle. The shortest measurement you receive will be the ground clearance.

This sounds like an answer I'd get from Homer Simpson. 😁 DUH!!

IKR

I've tried to say the same 2x. Every car will be different based on weight. There is no single answer. Get your own measuring tape out and figure for yourself.

Nah, I couldn't stand all of the inane questions. I much prefer the company of ruminative individuals.

Besides, I have no need to disrupt the comfortable leisurely life that the wife and I now enjoy.

Come on....I'm sure your wife would like you out of the house every now and then for some alone time😁
Besides, turning down a job is going to disqualify you from your unemployment benefits.;)

Like I said, I prefer ruminative individuals. Especially ones who are self sufficient.

I retired a few years ago so unemployment benefits are a total non issue and have been for many years.

We had a well thought out, well executed financial plan 40+ years ago that has culminated in an excellent retirement situation. One devoid of any worries about our situation as well as being devoid of any government assistance. We will probably file for SS at age 70, and have it deposited months in an investment account. That way it can pay for itself in terms of taxes as well as increase our portfolio.

The wife, she gets out as and when she wants. As I write this she is headed into Taos to do a little shopping on this chilly, drizzly morning. We have some friends coming down from Pagosa Springs to spend a long weekend and she thought that she would grab a few things they like to eat.
