I also came from a history of full size trucks, I do miss sitting up high! It’s crazy how nimble this thing is compared to the f150/RAMs in recent years.
I still miss the trucks at times but seeing all the extra stuff I can fit in the garage always leaves a positive spark in my mind!
In 3 or 4 more years I will be looking to see what type of gas mileage the newer trucks are getting (hybrids, EVs etc). I do LOVE the ability to not baby my engine and still get 22MPG without even trying to go for gas efficiency.
I wish “American” truck manufaturers had the same reputation as honda when it comes to longevity, but for now I cluldn’t imagine putting 100-250K miles on a ford or a ram. Toyota has me inspired with the (thank God finally a redesign) new Tundra.
It doesn’t matter though, by the time my passport is paid off I’ll be looking at a newer PassPort I am sure xP, this thing has made me a huge Honda fan so far!!!
