Happy New Year to All...!

2021 Elite with many accessories added on plus an 8 year HondaCare Warranty - $49,961 before financing fees/taxes. Probably overpaid a bit, but oh well - it was my first new-car buying experience. Glad I got that out of my system...my last vehicle was an '02 Odyssey that ran 301,000 miles before giving up the goat. We'll see how long I can keep this one going 😎

Congratulations! What color did you get and we love photos!

Sounds like a better deal than I got!
My Elite AWD in April 2019, > $46,497.00
$50,827.00 includes tax, doc fees, etc...with NO add ones, not even a Honda keychain!
They saw this sucker pull in the parking lot with a 2006 CRV and dreamy eyes!
I also had been searching for it in CA, AZ, and NV in the Touring model since I first saw a rendering in December. Never found a Touring in MSM, but the Elite arrived and I drove down to OC from San Jose Monday morning, bought it, and drove back to SJ on Tuesday (I was working up there).

2021 EX-L FWD Modern Steel Metallic, black interior. Sticker was $37,530 + $1,952 dealer added accessories.
What we paid:
$34,995 vehicle price
$500 SC sales tax
$400 dealer fee
~$100 tag
OTD a smidge under $36,000
Dealer added options we initially didn't care for are now pleased they're on the vehicle are: mud flaps, wheel locks, nitrogen, custom cargo mat, window tint and Aquapel glass treatment.
Took a bit to get there, but I think we got a good deal. It was basically $500 more than what we had negotiated on a 2020 vehicle.

This was with zero negotiations. While I did have a friend that worked at the dealership (for BMW) he helped the process to check my credit and find out all of the Honda incentives I had based on my credit. All they did was go to Honda.com, tell me to configure the vehicle I want with any options to get an MSRP. Then they reviewed by credit rating, gave me $1000 incentive for being a current Honda owner, and confirmed I qualified for 1.9% interest for 60 months.
This was by far the best experience I've had purchasing a vehicle in over 20 years.

Wow! Guess it helps to know someone in the biz 😎 great job! I'm also very jealous (along with ProdGirl, I'm sure) of these low tax rates that everyone not living in the Democratic People's Republic of California have to pay! Great deal!! Post a pic!

2020 Touring AWD in Modern Steel Metallic, there was some brief negotiation, no loyalty credit etc (only Honda product I've owned was an MDX around 2014-15).

Vehicle Price: $39,200
Delivery: $1,000
Doc Fee: $150
Trip Permits (2): 92.50
Total Balance: $40,442.50

I purchased out of state and had it trucked to me, hence the delivery fee. There is no sales tax in either states.

I bought my 2021 passport sport right off the delivery truck as I was getting my car serviced I watched them unload it and started thinking about driving it home , the msrp was $34,075 , doesn’t really have any options or accessories added to it , dealer took $1000 off but I negotiated a little because other area dealers were advertising them for $31999, when it was all said and done I ended up getting them to settle on a sale price Of $31,500 before tax title and license

hi all! new shopper here.

So far, best quoted price for AWD touring:

Dealer price ( minus delivery fee): $35,177 + TTL+ Delivery fee

Add ons:
Heated steering wheel: $706.
$308 for QI wireless charging (includes install for both).

Dealer perk: 2 years of oil changes, or 24k miles.

Processing fee: $799.

So far thats the best quote i got for a touring. State of VA.

hows that for a touring?

#19 ·
I'd give that 2 thumbs up!

Is it a 2021? If so I'd maybe give that 3 thumbs up! And with 0% PP financing it's a overall winner...

Heated wheel is a bit more than I paid for mine - BUT I didn't get that much discount & had thought I'd done ok on my deal,,

$800 processing fee is BS but the discount, IMO, is big time. So even with that fee I would 100% buy that PP.

My only comment is to be sure you knew that wireless charging dos NOT provide wireless CarPlay/AndroidAuto - so for me, I chose to skip that option as I need to plug it in anyway for my CarPlay..

Nice job!

Folks! After an extensive search in the DMV area, ive decided this one dealer has what I want for a touring add. Wanted black on black, but I'll go black bronze!

Every dealer local cant even match the 39.9k OTD snd 2 years maintenance.

Locals dm me for my sales person.

I'll post pics when I buy it, likely this weekend pre snowstorm and post my bday!

Deep down I feel my mom(who helped me buy my 10th gen civic hatchback) blessed me towards this. Everything has a reason.

Thank you forums.!

Howdy everyone,
Just bought a Modern Steel 2021 Touring AWD, with grey seats.
$40,595 out the door.

price of vehicle: $37,050*
processing fee (VA): $899
sales tax (MD): $2,276
title/lien fees: $120
new tags: $187
dealer's business license tax: $63
registration (MD): complimentary
Grand Total Paid: $40,595

*down from $42,855 sticker price ($41,680 MSRP + $1,175 Destination & Handling)

Used TrueCar.com and various dealers in my area/region emailed me offers.
I confirmed their commitment to that offer via email before going to the dealership.
It's worth considering buying in another state.
But beware processing fees can vary wildly.

This Passport is fun to drive; it's my new toy.

Not even jealous of the Ferrari drive by...

Just a reminder to consider asking for the Costco price. I actually bought my PP last summer, but the dealer initially said they would not go lower than the $44,900 MSRP on an Elite in modern steel metallic. I then asked for the Costco price and was quoted $40,7226 plus TTL. I took it. It’s not a bad option if you hate negotiating or don’t have time on your side.

I'm in Massachusetts and decided to see what the Costco price would come up as. So far they are showing a Passport Elite at $45,750 MSRP with an adjusted price of $40,500 with the Costco discount. Going to see if there's any wiggle room, but they are pushing for me to go to the showroom at this point. Hoping there aren't any BS fees outside of the expected ones.

I've had mixed results with the Costco Auto Buy program. I purchased two Ford trucks (separately) and couldn't find a better deal than the Costco program, yet with the PP we negotiated a better price on our own by about $1500. It ended up being somewhat of a trigger to move on the deal we had in front of us, reinforcing that we were getting a good discount.

2021 Passport Elite (purchased Feb 13, 2021 in Doylestown, PA) via the Costco Auto Buying Program (you do not have to buy from the first/closest dealership they send you to if the employees there turn out to be a??h???s -
$41,415.35 (includes that large destination fee) + the following dealer installed accessories including installation charge where applicable:
$186.15 Cargo Cover
$135.15 Cargo Tray
$211.55 Side Welcome Lights
$764.15 Fender Flares
$271.15 Door Visors
$0 Mud Flaps that I did not ask for
$0 white pinstripe that I did not ask for
$1251.60 5000-lb rated tow package, installed, including the transmission cooler and moving the rear sensor + wheel locks (that I did not ask for) + color-matched door edge guards (which I did ask for)
$2214.25 96 month/100000 mile Automotive Preferred Car+Plus service contract which covers all non-consumable parts except the exhaust system and catalytic converter (not sure why they are excluded) and provides a rental car or loaner while the car is in the shop, reimburses manufacturer's warranty deductible and reimburses for hotel and meals if you are stranded while waiting for a repair - there is a dollar amt ceiling for rental car and hotel and meals per event.
$2756.97 Sales Tax
$502.47 Various Fees including the $394 documentary fee (for the sales guy to write up the sales order paper work)
$49,708.79 Total, whatever I financed through Honda Financing was at 0% interest for 48 months
The dealership from which I purchased the car, throws in 3 "free" oil changes (do not need to be consecutive) and free PA state inspections while I own the car.

The only accessory that I wished I had added was the seat back protectors. I believe someone on this forum mentioned there may be an alternative or work around for this accessory.

snagged a 2021 Pp touring. All negotiations done through texting. Told them I will only be paying the OTD price and if F&I office tries to sell me even one thing I’ll be walking away. Sure enough got to dealership got my info down straight to F&I and signed paperwork’s and off we go! Price I paid ⬇

I'm in the market for a new vehicle and between the CRV, Pilot & PP, I've decided on a PP. Now to decide between a Touring AWD or Elite. So far from doing quotes different sites for the Orlando, FL area, the "best" offer looks to be from a truecar offer for a 2021 PP Elite Obsidian Blue Pearl: Looks good?

Assuming the only additional fee on that price is sales tax, that looks like as great deal. Good luck!
