I want to run an 18 gauge cable from the engine bay to the cabin through the firewall. Does anybody know an easy way to do this? Prefer not to drill any holes or anything if possible.

I hear there is a pass through on passenger side under the floor mat somewhere, haven't looked for it yet but I too will need to run some wires there. Anyone else have any options? Anyone tried this one yet? It is supposedly used to route cable for optional running board lights or some such Honda accessory.

There are two easy pass throughs in the firewall that will support any gauge up to about 4 easily. From the engine bay you can see two large grommets in the firewall with wiring harnesses passing through them. One is opposite and above the driver footwell, and one opposite and above the passenger footwell. The passenger side will have the cable come out among the various modules under the dash and is a huge pain to fish your cable out, requiring removing part of the dash trim and glove box. I had to use a fish tape to even push anything through, and it was not easy to avoid hitting modules and brackets and getting caught.

The driver side, if you 'fish' the cable/wire correctly comes out directly behind a raised plate right above the pedals. It didn't take me long to fish an 8 gauge cable through there at all and there are no other obstacles besides the plate.

Both large rubber grommets will require that a small cut/hole to be made in the rubber, being careful not to nick existing wires that pass through them. The tiny slice I made mostly self healed, and I covered the entire bundle of stock wire and my added cable with high quality elastic electric tape wrapped up to and over the hole I made (similar to factory, don't buy the cheap junk tape as it is not flexible and will come off). This has held up fine for almost 2 years.

Please see photos for what I'm trying to install.

I will need to run the black cable somehow through... Anyone have ideas?

Did you try any of the suggestions that were replied when you posted the same question 5 months ago??
If none of those worked, you may consider the notes on the product:
"PLEASE NOTE: Requires installation by a qualified professional." ;)

Do you know how I can access the drivers side grommet? I can't find it in the engine bay.

I just couldn't find the drivers side grommet he was referring to in the engine bay... Do you know where it is?
