The Honda Passport is entering the 2021 model year with an infotainment update for the base model and slightly higher prices across the board.
The base Sport model previously came standard with an outdated 5.0-inch non-touchscreen infotainment system that lacked many modern connectivity features. Now, the Sport has the same 8.0-inch touchscreen system as the higher trim levels, meaning it gains Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality. The cost for this upgrade is a $625 price hike over last year, meaning the 2021 Passport Sport now starts at $33,710.
Pricing for the EX-L, Touring, and Elite models is up between $225–$285 and those better-equipped trim levels don't receive any changes for the new model year. Front-wheel drive remains standard on Sport, EX-L, and Touring models, with all-wheel drive a $2000 upgrade. The top Elite model comes standard with all-wheel drive and starts at $45,100. All versions have a 3.5-liter V-6 engine with 280 horsepower.
Honda says 2021 Passports are arriving at dealerships now.

My wife and I went back and fourth on our decision in purchasing a 2020 or wait for the 2021s. With $5200 off MSRP for a ‘20 and no major updates for ‘21 and slightly higher price tag, we made the right decision...for once. 😁

"once" 😂 Cue in Joe Piscipo's Danny Vermin...

Seems also that there Is no more Black Forest, fewer color choices on the Sport model, and a $395 upcharge for certain colors.

I'm glad there are no changes to the Touring. If there were, I'd be obsessing over how to retrofit the upgrades. I'm thinking about all the Sport owners who now have obsolete radios...

Too bad Honda decided to get rid of the Black Forrest, it is an AWESOME color...only if it had black interior that would have been our choice. Gray interior with 5 dachshunds would have been a nightmare. 🥴

We have the Black Forest and when the sun hits it just right it really is pleasing to the eye, we love it- the gray interior did gives us pause but so far no blemishes. But we don't have 5 dachshunds. You should send us a pic of them all lined up in the back seat.

I bought a Black Forest EX-L yesterday. I was debating between the Passport and a Chevy Blazer, but once I saw a pic of the Black Forest option, I was sold on the Passport.

I think you made a great choice on vehicle and color!! Like others have mentioned, in the shade it's pretty much black, but that didn't bother us.
