I paid 38,500 for a 2020 Touring model and in my area it was a good deal. I went to different dealers and the second dealer had the color I wanted (modern metal). The second dealer gave me 3,000 more for my trade.

Hey everyone! Thursday night I drove home an AWD Touring model in Modern Steel with 140miles.
MSRP including destination: $42,400.
They slapped on the "protection package" which includes nitrogen filled tired, wheel locks splash guards which that costs $995 (I know these don't cost this much, just another way to make money) I got them to remove this charge.

So MSRP with protection package: $43,395.
Got them down to $35,600.
Then with a processing fee: $500.
Tax: $2,009.43
Then registration fees, title, tire recycling  : $649

Out the door price: $38,758.43

Had to drive a round trip of 200 miles to get this deal, but I'm pretty damn happy with it. And this PP is great!

Came from a 2015 Honda Fit, so it's night and day.

IMO, that's a great deal. 42.4 down to 35.6 is fantastic, protection packages or not. This type of packaging sounds a lot like Planet Honda in Union, NJ. The love doing all this crap to all their cars.
Enjoy your new PP and drive it in good health!

Pretty much the same. Paid $40,427 in NJ. No fancy flaps, locking nuts or cargo mat tho. Spoke to a bunch of dealerships, few had the Elite in MSM and very few were willing to deal. Most were selling at invoice.
Zip code pls?

i was just there today, trying to get my own “magic number” to help convince myself I need a car right now. They gave me. 40k + 695 (acc ) + other acc + doc fees + tax and dmv. I talk them down to remove all those acc, ask them a barebones elite, and almost attempted to bite on it but I held my ground, They still want 44,750 out the door, I told them 43.1k is my magic number... I guess I’m not gonna have PP 😭
