Hi, just bought a new Passport, 3 days and still adjusting to all the safety features; nice ride though.
Congrats and welcome Lou, same color I got...(good choice)...!

Thanks, thinking about adding a ceramic coating, need to do some research.
Mike's Car Wash here near Dayton, Ohio, offers that as a drive through car wash add on for $7. I was skeptical but wow is it more beautiful (modern steel metallic 2020 with grey interior). Water seems to glide off as they claim.

Thanks for the info Anita, never thought to look at car washes as potential ceramic sources/servicing. I'm in South Carolina so would be a long haul to Dayton for me!

Congratulations🎉 and great color choice!

If you plan on keeping your Passport for a long time and subject to rock chips, look into an XPEL paint protection. You can search on here and see the discussions.

Thanks ProdGirl, wasn't thinking along those lines; now need to research ceramic coatings vs XPEL. My main focus is for protection vis-a-vis typical, average driving habits.

I had my CRV for 13 years and the hood and side mirrors were close to Swiss cheese with rock chips.
Since I tend to keep my vehicles for the long haul, I got the XPEL on the next day and use their ceramic protection product at least twice a year. I’ve gotten many rock hits that I felt and heard while driving and no chips.
