really enjoy reading about the vehicles we all own and the trials of owning one. here is mine , when approaching an obstacle my screen flashes alarm but not getting the beep I was getting as well before. any ideas from similar experiences?

The ACC beep is something that can be turned on or off. If you have the audio system ( the large screen), pg 119 in the Owner's Manual (not the guide), tells how to customize various settings.On pg. 123 of the Manual, under Driver Assist System setup, it shows how to turn the ACC Forward Vehicle Detect beep on or off. I hope this is helpful.

I tried following m y own suggestion as to how to restore the beep on the ACC system and was not able to do it using the steering wheel/dash. BUT, was able to do it easily from the center screen following the same instructions in the Manual....Settings/Driver Assist System Setup/ACC Forward Vehicle Detect Beep/On

thanks, now I have a bad cmbs item not good. I guess I will reboot by disconnecting red batt ter and see if anythings reboots. no fix back to dealer. funny I washed car recently
