1. Center console armrest - for the love of a God, give us a comfortable armrest like every other entry in this segment

2. Love the quiet Touring cabin, outstanding

3. 45 min difference between Google Maps and on board Navigation on 400 mile run. I Trust Google maps

4.Acceleration and passing, all I need

5. sound system, pleased

6. LED lighting, outstanding

7. Adaptive cruise turned off, will never turn it on

8. comfort and ride, fix armrest, ride is great on the interstate

9. handling, little better than Pilot, good enough, it’s not an X5

10. like the ease of ECO on/off, use it

11. Transmission - replaced under warranty at 12,000 miles, new one performed as expected, no issues.

Like my Passport, would buy it again.

I assume you meant "20,000 miles, observations". Being that you had the tranny replaced at 12K. Glad to hear you'd buy it again!

Agree with most everything as just took a 300 mile road trip myself. I’m good with the armrest though and I personally think adaptive cc is just stupid to begin with in any vehicle. Funny you mention the x5? I’ve been glancing at the x3. Looking for something that is more sports oriented that offers the same ground clearance, similar cargo capacity, and can tow up to 3500lbs w/o breaking the bank. Maybe it doesn’t exist.

To balance out this review for those who might be considering a Passport...
In my opinion,
Center console armrest is fine, in fact for me it's perfect. It's very much a subjective thing, some love it, some hate it, some have no opinion.
I have no problem with Adaptive Cruise Control, works fine for me.

Wife has a new X3. Cargo space is not nearly the same as the PP. Fit and finish much better. Mileage is much better. But similarly equipped is about $11k more than a PP Elite. No Android Auto and Car Play costs $500!

Well apparently I was suffering from a brain fart or a senior moment with my first response! Don't know why all I saw was 2000 miles observation and looked at the list. Just made my first longer distance trip with the PP, from home in Charlotte, NC to visited my sister in Charleston, SC for Christmas. The ACC is no where near as refined as is in my wife's '18 CR-V. Other than that the PP was pleasure to drive on the highway....definitely a keeper!

I took a long trip back n forth on a long highway road, (the 395 for you locals) and there are stretches of 30-60 minutes of pretty much flat straight road, with little traffic and the ACC worked fine for those areas, but I agree I never use it around town...!

I’m in the middle of a 3,000 mile trip that will conclude later this week. I’ve driven on everything from bare and dry roads to snow covered to solid ice covered roads. The drive has been solid and sure-footed. The cabin is quiet with no wind noise and the music is fine on both XM and Spotify. The heated seats and steering wheel have been great. I drove 700 miles today and the seats are fine. No additional aches or pains from sitting. I always switch off the Auto Start / Stop.

Most of our drive has been at 75 - 80 MPH except on ice and snow. MPG has been about 25 or so. No complaints here. My only complaints are the ACC, the lags in Cruise returning to set speed and Auto Brights. These features are very noticeable and detract from the vehicle significantly. I may add the device to stop the cylinder deactivation.

You are not crazy, I edited title of thread and added “in last two weeks”. Appreciate the feedback.

I also have a 17 CRV EXL. I like the ACC on it. It's worse on the PP? How so?
The ACC on the CRV (we had a 17 also) transitions very smoothly, slowing gradually when the car ahead is detected. The PP tends to see the vehicle ahead, goes right up to the radar limit point and hits the brakes. Accelerate, brake, accelerate, brake. It's very unrefined and rough. As much as I liked the CRV ACC is as much as I dislike the PP ACC.

Check out Major Transmission failure thread, all the gory details are there.

Bottom line, things happen, Honda demonstrated complete and total competence and kept this loyal customer, loyal. Thanks again Honda.

Wow that's disappointing. Hopefully that's just a software update. Has Honda been made aware of the discrepancy between the two?

I've got 15,000 miles on my Touring now and have taken quite a few longer trips. I agree with most of what you mentioned and feel it is a great road car. Quiet, super comfortable, can just drive for miles with no back and leg issues and I have back and leg issues when I drive our CRV on long trips. Speaking of the CRV, still love that car too and agree with previous comments, it is beyond me how they can make the ACC in the CRV be so good and then so bad in the PP. As many mentioned, I do sometimes use it on long trips but mostly it is off. The arm rest doesn't bother me and I do use the car's built in navi more often then I thought I would. It's just easy and the traffic notices seem to be pretty spot on. I love all the safety features and I use them on long trips, but more often then not when I'm driving around town, I turn them off. It's a fun car to just drive and I'm glad Honda allows you to do that when you want to. Sorry to hear about the transmission issue. My 15,000 miles have been trouble free and while I looked at a lot of other options before I bought this, I would buy it again.
