Hey folks. New here. My passport has 250k+ miles on it and my wife overheated it and blew the engine. Since it's such high miles I want to replace the engine, but for the life of me I can't find anyone that has a remanufactured engine for sale. Please help!

You may have better luck finding a used or rebuilt engine from the Passport's twin brother, which I believe was the Isuzu Rodeo. There were probably a lot more of them made & sold in the US. I believe they were made in the same factory. Is your engine the 2.2L L4 or the 3.2L V6? ATK Remanufactured Crate Engines for Isuzu - JEGS High Performance

Mine is the 3.2 V6. Is the 3.5 V6 a bolt in swap? I only ask since those are way easier to find. Also thank you.

Couldn't say for sure, but I seriously doubt it. I really want to say no way, no how...

I'm no engineer, but the difference in displacement shouldnt change much external characteristics much if any.

Hopefully you can find pictures, specs, or people who've done the swap to confirm whats needed.
