I just received the Orientools Adjustable Work Platform with 330 lb Duty Rating

Perfect size. See my last post for measurements. These pics show the platform next to my PP, with the legs fully extended to make the platform height 34 3/4”. Pretty light, and easy to lift into the trunk. The pics show the platform in the trunk with the legs at the shortest setting, as well as fully extended. It fits perfectly behind the back seat, with about an inch or so to spare with the hatch closed. It will also fit sideways in the truck with a few inches left over. I’m going to put some kind of stick on rubber bumper along the length of the platform, just in case it comes into contact with the vehicle.

With legs fully retracted to shortest setting

Locks that secure the legs when unfolded. Pull up on the tab and rotate around to unlock and fold up legs.

The buttons are a bit hard to push in with your finger. I used the tip of a screwdriver to push them in.

Overall, quite sturdy. There’s a little bit of play in the adjustable legs, but nothing that makes it feel unsafe or wobbly. I’m going to test it out this weekend and post how it went.

I used this platform last weekend to wash the PP. Worked out great. I’m 5’ 6”, so the extra height really helps to reach the center of the roof and center of windshield. Was quite sturdy, and easy to move around. I like the 18” depth of the platform. Once I adjusted the legs all of the way out, I just left them like that and folded them up. No need to adjust legs again.

OEM Splash Guards

I went with the OEM splash guards. I think they look better than the WeatherTech. Fairly easy to install. When installing the rears, you’ll need to lay down to line up the bottom hole and the trim piece. Fronts are easy. Just turn the wheels outward. Use a stubby screwdriver. A right angle phillips screwdriver comes in handy for the rear, as well as the front.

I just got my 2020 with the same color and trim. It looks awesome with the ceramic coating. Did you do any paint correction first?

Same here (3 weeks ago). I have to say that I'm really liking what BeachBum has done with his PP, and I'm following his his footsteps for a few of those things. Just loaded up my LasFit cart for LEDs as this is something I planned to do ASAP, and I'm looking at the Opti-Coating. Also, I quickly learned that I'll need to decide on a ladder/work platform as I'm just 5'9". The dealer included splash guards, wheel locks, pin stripe (I had them remove it), cargo tray and tires inflated with nitrogen. I was considering WeatherTech mats, but I bought the OEM all weather mats since I already had the OEM cargo tray, and just wanted to keep things uniform. I'm still on the fence about running boards.

Hi. Beautiful rig (obviously ;)). Are you saying your Elite didn't come with the splash guards installed? Like you ordered them and installed them yourself because they didn't come on the vehicle from the factory?

Drop dead gorgeous PP! Car show quality details.
Can I ask if you installed the rear dash cam yourself and where you got the power from?
Thanks for the compliments! I had the dash cam professionally installed, so I’m not sure where they grabbed the power from.

Correct, the Elite doesn’t come with the splash guards. I ordered the OEM ones and installed myself. Very easy.

Really? I must've just gotten lucky. There were no accessories listed on the window sticker and I just looked back through my paperwork and there were no additional charges of any kind for any dealer-installed accessories. Zero. Zip. Zilch. Maybe they were supposed to charge me, but forgot. I just assumed the splash guards DID come on the Elite or maybe even the Elite and Touring trims.
