No need for micro fiber towels. This way nothing touches the paint but air. As someone else suggested I also gently run water from the hose over the vehicle to break up the water beads. This makes the drying process quicker. The nice thing about air dryers is they get the water out of trim edges so it doesn't keep weeping out after towel drying. They are also very effective for drying the front grill and tires and wheels.
