I got the NLD catalytic converter skid plate (2016-2022 Pilot/Passport/Ridgeline Catalytic Converter Skid Plate Kit) - I've also heard that spray painting it a bright orange might deter some thieves.

I can't imagine how a skid plate will stop them if the skid plate is bolted on.

Unfortunately, until cities & states start passing laws that charge fines and force recyclers to be accountable thefts of opportunity will likely continue
. My friend at work is currently dealing with this expensive theft nightmare that happened last week with her Tacoma.
