Anyone here purchased these from Honda? The installation instructions show a lot of drilling holes though the rear panels. I should just improve the blanket layout for the pup and adventure gear.

I can see where that could benefit you and your buddy, but they are not very attractive (IMO).
They appear to be made of stiff plastic material, and will likely show scratches and surface marring (dog nails, equipment scratches, etc).
If you end up with some marring/damage on your OEM fuzzy-stuff side panels, you can always install the cargo side protectors later (to cover up the damage).
That said, I did install the rear seat back protectors (08P42-TGS-100B) , since we frequently carry large items (plants, wet stuff, and building materials) and frequently have the seat backs in the down position; a pool noodle between seat & rear cargo area results in very flat, protected cargo area. We had similar-type rear-seat-back protectors on Subaru Outback and quickly learned to appreciate the protection they offered.

it’s on my list of next purchases. The install looks easy if you’re comfortable using a drill. I have the two other protectors, I would have just gotten this at the time of sale had I know about them. My dog’s a lot bigger than yours so I’d rather see mars on plastic than tore up carpet.

I also keep a couple of the black Harbor Freight moving blankets stowed in the lower compartment. Also great for covering up items that you don't want to be visible to others. You know those guys that have their hands cupped against their face to see what ya got back there, the ones that go shopping in the parking lot while your in the mall shopping
I have them, dealer installed. I like the one in back though at times I wish it had no lip as sliding things is tougher. The ones on back of seats are not all that well attached and those round snap on things (you can see them in someone's pic above) pop off too easily. I'm thinking I should replace them and just screw and washer into the existing screw hole instead of just snapping these onto the screw - anyone tried that?
Just saw a great tip ... instead of drilling the back of the seat, use several velcro strips.
