Anyone here purchased these from Honda? The installation instructions show a lot of drilling holes though the rear panels. I should just improve the blanket layout for the pup and adventure gear.
I can see where that could benefit you and your buddy, but they are not very attractive (IMO).Anyone here purchased these from Honda?
I think my dog and climbing gear will mark up the plastic easily. I might improve the blanket layout.
I'm only missing the back seat protectors. They are something I've thought about.I can see where that could benefit you and your buddy, but they are not very attractive (IMO).
They appear to be made of stiff plastic material, and will likely show scratches and surface marring (dog nails, equipment scratches, etc).
If you end up with some marring/damage on your OEM fuzzy-stuff side panels, you can always install the cargo side protectors later (to cover up the damage).
That said, I did install the rear seat back protectors (08P42-TGS-100B) , since we frequently carry large items (plants, wet stuff, and building materials) and frequently have the seat backs in the down position; a pool noodle between seat & rear cargo area results in very flat, protected cargo area. We had similar-type rear-seat-back protectors on Subaru Outback and quickly learned to appreciate the protection they offered.

I have these and they are great for wet/snow conditions. You also don't ruin the carpet when putting stuff in the back.
